Suriya's Soorarai Pottru to release on Amazon Prime the day before Diwali. Due to the COVID-19 shutdown of theatres the team is planned to release the film on Amazon Prime.
Suriya, Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal and Aparna Balamurali on the lead roles and the film is directed by Sudha Kongara and produced by Suriya, and co-produced by Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian, Guneet Monga and Aalif Surti.
